Are you a seasoned result driven Project Management Officer (PMO) and would you like to be a part of a fast growing, rapidly changing international automotive BtB organization? We’re looking for a PMO for the Digital program which is a major program in the European portfolio aimed at increasing customer engagement in the B2C and B2B markets. Home base for this position is Amsterdam.
As a PMO your job is to support the Program Manager whilst managing relationships with all PMO stakeholders. You will be responsible for defining, controlling and the promotion of adherence to the use of methodologies, standards, templates, and policies related to Agile project delivery.
Job description
The PMO proactively assists the Program Manager and project team:
- Facilitate program “on-boarding” and establish disciplined and accurate tracking of high-level program status, risks & issues, financial/non-financial KPIs – ensuring plans, budgets, metrics and key milestones are identified for all projects. Using Smartsheet for reporting.
- Drive the Agile backlog, user stories, epics, acceptance criteria and Scrum based working.
- Maintain & optimize integrated roadmaps of global/local transformation & deployment projects, by country.
- Ensure monitoring of progress against all projects is timely and accurate and enables stakeholders have visibility and sufficient information to make the required decisions.
- Co-ordinate, organize and plan (meeting) activities for the Program Manager and project team, incl. preparing agenda’s and meetings (packs and logistics).
- Ensure Confluence Library is structured, maintained and controlled.
- Primary office location Amsterdam Sloterdijk, incidental travel to Heerlen, Schiedam and UK.

- PI Planning preparations, manage follow ups and manage dependencies across the Program
- Support Portfolio management with creating transparency on program dependencies across the European portfolio

Required experience:
- Experience of running a Project Management Office function for a large-scale program.
- Ideally has implemented PMO in a European/global context acquiring international experience on how change is designed and delivered across countries and geographies (sensitive to cultural differences).
- Strong experience in business transformation implementation – Track record in delivery management of the complete lifecycle of large projects (10m plus).
- Experience with Agile way of working.
- Certifications in any of the following are highly desirable: Prince2, Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices (APMG – P30®); Managing Successful Programmes (MSP™); Portfolio, Program and Project Management Maturity Model (P3M3®), or other PMO qualification.
- Knowledge of MS Office, Jira and Confluence is essential.
