About the Role:

Our organization is embarking on a journey to the public cloud, introducing new technology and migrating applications to Microsoft Azure. We are committed to leveraging public cloud technologies to support our ambitions and responsibilities. To facilitate this cloud journey, we have partnered with a Managed Cloud Provider (MCP), which assists us in building, designing, and maintaining the Public Cloud. This collaboration aims to enhance our IT infrastructure's agility and resilience, positioning us at the forefront of technological innovation and security advancements.

We are running the MCP: Go Cloud Program to establish the public cloud platform and execute migrations. Simultaneously, we are building a robust platform organization to ensure the ongoing support and provision of the MCP service. This team will drive the Cloud Journey for the coming years, leading the change in enhancing efficiency and agility across our operations. By harnessing the expertise of the MCP, we aim to redefine traditional IT delivery models, offering resources to end-users with unprecedented speed and advancing the resilience of our IT infrastructure.

Where Will You Work?

As a Scrum Master, you will be a pivotal member of our Department of Business Technology Operations (BTO Operations), within the Infrastructure, Integration, and Cloud (IIC) unit. You will oversee the alignment and execution of our cloud strategy as part of the run-organization, reporting directly to the Lead Cloud. During the program phase, you'll join the program team, working under the functional leadership of the program manager. This dual-reporting structure ensures the MCP service is robustly built and seamlessly transitioned into business-as-usual activities. Your role is to bridge program success into operational excellence, forging the path for continued innovation in cloud technology.

Role Description:

We are looking for a Scrum Master to facilitate and implement agile processes and practices within our MCP Platform team. The Scrum Master will support the development and delivery of our Public Cloud services, ensuring efficient team operations and a continuous improvement mindset. As a servant leader, you will remove obstacles, enhance team dynamics, and promote a culture of collaboration and transparency.

You will collaborate daily with the Managed Cloud Provider and internal stakeholders, fostering an environment that encourages innovation and agility. Guiding the team through Scrum events, managing the backlog, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals will be key responsibilities. With a team of Cloud Architects and Service Managers, you'll support an international collaboration, harnessing collective expertise. The Scrum Master is vital in shaping and designing the team to ensure a successful service.

Core Responsibilities:

• Coach team members in self-management and cross-functionality
• Help the Scrum Team focus on creating high-value Increments that meet the Definition of Done
• Ensure all Scrum events are positive, productive, and within the timebox
• Assist the Platform Owner with effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management
• Establish empirical product planning for a complex environment
• Lead, train, and coach the organization in its Scrum adoption
• Plan and advise on Scrum implementations within the organization
• Help employees and stakeholders understand and enact an empirical approach for complex work
• Remove barriers between stakeholders and Scrum Teams

FUNCTIE EISEN & – WENSEN:

• 5-10 years of relevant work experience in similar and complex technological environments
• Experience as a Scrum Master in IT, preferably with a focus on cloud platform services
• Experience in setting up a Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCOE)
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and other agile frameworks
• Strong team-building and coaching skills
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience managing partnerships
• Ability to lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team across international borders
• Able to align technical solutions with strategic business objectives
• Adept at stakeholder management, with effective communication skills at various organizational levels
• Professional certifications in Scrum (CSM, PSM) and project management methodologies are highly regarded
• Excellent language skills in Dutch, English, and German are preferred
